Mitt Romney - Star Trek video
Still learning to create animated web videos. I'm using Monkey Jam, a free program I found on Google and uploaded. This short video is about Mitt Romney being confronted by George Takei of Star Trek on another planet.

Mitt Romney Kicks a Puppy
My first animated video. It was inspired by the Mitt Romney dog on roof story. Youtube is full of videos making fun of his statements, such as "I like to fire people" and "I don't care about the poor" and "Corporations are people" and his embarrassing attempts to connect with people such as saying "Who let the dogs out."

Dad's New Website
I'm almost finished building dad's new website for his company.
I used GoDaddy. It's tricky to figure out and somewhat annoying to move stuff around. But the tech support guys are awesome! You can call any time and they'll walk you through it.
My dad is in the excavating business in Staten Island.
For many years, he has gone by the name John Ippolito Trucking & Excavating. However, for Web searches, the name J. Ippolito Excavating seems to works better. I hope he doesn't mind the change.
You can check out the site in progress at excavatenyc.com.

Reddit or Not
Reddit is about the worst bookmark site I've tried - if that's even what it is. I can't tell.
I tried to post a link there.
They make you type the funky scripty letters in a box to make sure you are human - which is fine. Until it kept telling me I was incorrect. I know my eyes are shot even with glasses, but I'm not that blind! I kept trying over and over until it finally said I guessed the letters correctly.
Then I filled out the submission request. It had fields for the URL you want to post and a Title you can give it. When you click submit, suddenly another field pops up for comments. Underneath in red letters it says "there seems to be nothing here!" The stupid thing is accusing me of not writing a description when it never gave me a chance to in the first place.
Then I click submit and absolutely nothing happens.
Stick to Digg, StumbleUpon and Delicious instead.

Fun blog for parents and kids
My sister and niece, age 9, started a blog about places to go and things to do with kids. It's called A Kid's Guide to Cool. Check it out.
